This little fella is Leaf!

Thorn, Lily, and Leaf are all mama Petal's babies born at our sanctuary.

These three kids were a totally unexpected, but very welcomed surprise.

When Petal first came to us, this big bellied lady had perfect bloodwork with zero indication that she was pregnant. Over the course of a few weeks, that big belly turned into an even bigger belly.

Out of growing suspicions, we asked our vet to run another blood panel, and sure enough Petal was pregnant! 

Three days later she gave birth to our these beautiful babies. 

Leaf was the runt and unable to receive as much nutrients as he needed as a baby, so Leaf became a bottle baby at just about five weeks old.

He spent the majority of his first few weeks inside our home to get his health to where it needed to be, and to accurately track his progress and development.

Leaf is often found on someone’s lap or acting like a dog (he grew up with two while he was healing!)
